prosaic. 2016. Crayola crayon, gesso, linen, poplar. Installation of 152 12x12x2” Crayola crayon monochrome paintings inscribed with corresponding titles

In 2018, the year my wife was shot twelve times by a complete stranger, only 13.1 million firearms were sold

Between 2019 and 2020, an unprecedented 40 million guns flew off the shelves.

Although my interdisciplinary art practice includes reading, writing, drawing, painting, carving, assembling, modeling, molding, wood-working, welding, performing, photography, videography, audio/video editing, projection-mapping, and lecturing, my sales focus for this website is aimed at uniting charismatic humans with inoperable replica firearms as a visual gesture of goodwill. Rather than stigmatize gun owners, the negligence project’s conceptual goal advances a commitment to gun safety, by championing one story abstracted into transparent boxes of crayons.

My web ‘SHOP’ is currently limited to the negligence items despite my tenacity as a maker of unique objects which must be experienced in real space for authentic appreciation.
